Gents,
So seeing as how it was a beautiful day out today, I decided to sling some lead. I took my USPf with match trigger and JF kit however I was a bit surprised at what happened. Loaded up my mags, and about 5 shots in *click.* As if my flinch wasnt shocking enough, I was more shocked at the continuing like strikes. I put about 150 rounds through it and I had maybe 5-6 light strikes; federal and wwb. I read an article on here that was pretty old, the one Bruce Gray got involved with, however I think we are on two different pages.
Little background on the gun, I purchased it used from a forum member with the Match trigger kit installed, all the spare parts (original) were included however I don't know any history behind install. I BELIEVE, he installed it himself. I shot the USP with 0 issues before installing the Jet Funnel kit and had 1 light strike about a month ago.
A.) As strange as this sounds would there be any connection to the JF kit and light strikes? I dont see why there would be, but then again if I knew everything I wouldnt be posting this ;)
B.) What would the suggested course of action be? I looked up the mainspring on HKparts, for $20 it might be worth ordering one and seeing..yes, no?
C.) That match trigger is so ungodly awesome. :-D
