I just finished changing out the A1 style Flash Suppressor on my MR with a B.E. Meyers 249F. All in all it was pretty easy to accomplish with only home available tools. I had to reef a bit on the A1 to get it off but once it broke free it was a snap to remove.
It should be a pretty significant improvement in flash suppression. Note that the HK flash suppressor doesn't have a crush washer attached. The B.E. Meyers came with a crush washer so I used it for the install, although it doesn't appear that the 249F needs to be indexed or timed in any way.
I don't do a ton of night shooting but you just never know. If it works well I'm planning on picking one up for my 762 as well.
