Hello All - brand new to this forum, great site you have here. I have a story to tell about my USP and also end it with a question.
So five years ago I bought a lightly used USP .40 for $500 and I was in love with the gun, although I never put a round through it. My buddies all shot USP's and they were the greatest weapon I've ever held and I knew I had to get one. With that said, I had no business buying a $500 gun at the time. I simply couldn't afford it. A month after I bought it I had my best friends wedding to go to in Jamaica and I couldn't justify the trip and the purchase of the gun. I did not make a lot of money and I had to sell the H&K back to the shop I bought it from, never even shot it. I was sad but I had to do what I had to do.
I have thought about that gun since i sold it and fast forward five years, I have been blessed enough to be able to purchase another USP this Saturday. This one is also used and probably a little more used than my first. I pick it up in a week and I am thrilled, can't stop looking at pictures online!
My question is, this gun appears to have used more than my first and possible older, is there anything I should do to get it in proper order? A sort of tune up if you will? I purchased the gun from a very reputable shop in Concord NC.
Thanks for listening to my story.
