So I just got this one in a trade - and the top of the barrel (hood) looks like either A) the finish has worn off COMPLETELY, B) someone purposely rubbed off the finish, or C) it came this way from the factory?

Otherwise, the gun looks nearly unshot. It'd be shocking to me that someone could rack the slide THAT MUCH to completely wear off the finish. Any input?
