USP45T problem?

Hey guys.

My friend recently bought a brand new USP45T. We put maybe 100 rounds through it total and I was checking it out the other day and noticed the barrel looks like this in the slide:

I took it apart and tried to force the barrel into what "full lockup" looks like on my USP, but it didn't want to go.

Do you guys think there is an issue here? The gun shoots fine, I just never saw a USP where the barrel sat like that.

Think it might have to do with the fact it is brand new?
