Took my new P30LS to the range today for the very first time, was kind of unplanned so was only able to shoot about 80 rds. '
Bummed Because:
It short stroked and stove piped just about every round, sometimes i got 3 or so off before it stove piped, or didn't lock back on last round, now I know it was due to the 115gr. target rounds I was using (I hope at least) But it still kinda bums me out that I have to get specific ammo (124gr. from what I've read) for this fine pistol...
Happy Because:
Its a damn fine pistol that shoots much more accurately than me and has such a soft recoil! Damn, if only it would have cycled all the ammo, it might have been a little like heaven. -So comfortable.
Don't think the SA trigger is as nice as on my USP 9 but it is still nice. Cant wait to get some 124gr. ammo and try her out again.
Overall I am very happy with my P30L and hope, with time, as I have read that it will eventually reliably cycle 115gr. as it is plentiful and cheap around here.
