Hi All,
I am new to this forum and seek some help from those with more experience than I have with HK Pistols.
About three months ago, I purchased a P30 LEM V1 to replace an unreliable Glock 19. I shot the gun a bit, found I shot it OK and felt the trigger was OK, but different than a Glock (duh). I decided training was all that was required to overcome misgivings about the P30.
I decided to purchase a P2000SK LEM V2 also and finally found one about two weeks after the P30 was purchased. I shot it a bit, found the trigger was heavier than the V1 LEM on the P30 (again, duh). I purchased the parts and pieces to convert the P2000 SK to a "light" LEM. Both guns are dead reliable, a positive change from the G19.
Here is the problem; the P2000SK that I modified has a much better trigger than the factory V1 on the P30. When I say better I'd call it lighter, with less creep at the end of the stroke. A much crisper release of the shot.
I shoot IDPA and recently used the P2000SK in a match. I shot it substantially better than the P30 in a later match. The trigger is that much crisper and lighter on the modified P2000SK.
I want the P30 LEM V1 to be as good as that of the P2000SK that I converted. How do I do that? They are both "V1" LEMs.
Guidance and advice would be appreciated. I have about 1500 rounds through the P30, all in an effort to figure out the trigger.
Thanks,
JTO
