Proud new HK Owner! USP Compact .45.

I just bought my first HK, a new USP Compact .45. After owning several Rugers, a couple of Glocks, and a nice Kimber 1911 (early model Custom II), I decided to treat myself and spend my tax return on one of the finest pistols made. I picked it up and put about 150 rounds through it today. The gun shot flawlessly. I also shot my Glock 30 which is similar in size, and my 10mm Glock 29, also similar in size. The HK shot like a dream compared to the other two. The 10mm is a bit rough in the small frame though. I hog hunt a lot and plan on carrying the new HK as my sidearm for dispatching pigs, as well as for the big rattlesnakes we encounter in the summer time. I almost bought the Sig P220 Carry, which is similar in specs to the HK, but after shooting both at the range, I decided that the HK fit me better. Both quality firearms, and now my Sig buddies are going to want one.

The only noob question I have, which didn't seem to be addressed in the owner's manual, is that I like to shoot +P 255 gr. hard cast buffalo bore or Underwood loads when I hunt. These are not supposed to be shot through OE Glock barrels which have polygonal rifling like the HK; however, the HK manual said any production standard, +P or +P+ ammo within SAAMI specs is acceptable. Does anyone know if this is an issue with my HK USP compact .45? If it is, I can just shoot hot fmj's, but I like the hard cast on hogs. Thanks in advance.
