Small question, literally, about the P2000SK. I have been a P30L shooter recreationally and competitively and recently added a P2000SK. Well the ammo that I shoot a lot of, premium 9mm 147 gr FMJ, through all my guns, won't squeeze in to the SK barrel easily. Yes the casing (Starline) fits fine hand dropped into the breech all the way the the step (just as loose as any of my P30 barrels) however after the step-down, the bullet will only press in if pushed in with a slide cycle. Not too odd really since barrels are made ever-so-tight to allow the rifling and gas seal effectiveness, however if I try and cycle the cartridge out without firing it won't budge and locks it all up. No amount of effort with pull it back and I have to fire it to ever get the casing out. (Discovered at the range where I tried cartridges from seven different boxes and could fire after trying.)
147gr FMJ is not the ammo that will be shot in it, however I was just curious if the PK barrel ID is pinched in slightly more than normal to help out with the pressure build up with such a short barrel runout?
